Correspondence between Surur al-Saltanah (daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk and wife of ‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash) and her son, Amir Hushang Taymurtash: 1- Surur al-Saltanah writes to Hushang in London from Berlin, and, among other things, discusses the problems with finding a place for Hushang to stay during the break. She mentions how busy Papa (Taymurtash) is with the negotiations about the oil treaty (December 17, 1932); 2- Surur al-Saltanah's letter to Hushang, sending greetings to Mr. Nuri and Dr. Young, and thanking her son for his Sunday prayer for his parents....

Correspondence of Surur al-Saltanah and ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash): on the first page, Surur al-Saltanah writes to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk complaining about not getting a letter from him and explains her good intentions regarding her previous remarks. On the second page, Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk expresses his happiness on receiving a letter from her, mentions that he had been miserable when Surur had stopped writing to him, and he is so happy now that he is writing this letter while in bed with a fever and will send it with one of the orderlies in the morning.

Love letters of ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash), son of Karim Dad Khan, to Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk, accompanied by some envelopes and part of a letter, probably from Surur al-Saltanah to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk. He expresses his love for Surur and refers to a photograph sent by Surur that he has sent her back without looking at it. ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah complaining that Surur does not respond to his letters nor does she explain the reasons for her decision not to write to him. He also talks about meeting with Rukn al-Sultan and Fakham al-Saltanah for permission, that he was hoping for settling the date on the sixteenth, but they had decided to postpone it to the twenty sixth, and that he is not happy for this delay but he will stay patient.
